Cathy Harrison

I have been married for 40 years. We have three children that went through Douglas County Schools. We have been in the Douglasville area for 39 years. Hobbies: Reading, crocheting, playing with my kitten, and kayaking. Favorite things: my family, chocolate, reading, and going to the beach! Favorite children's books: The Hank Zipzer series by Henry Winkler and any book by Steven Kellogg.

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Georgia College

Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College

Add-on certification in Media from University of West Georgia

 Experience

I taught Second Grade at Lithia Springs Elementary School for 7 years.

I taught Fifth Grade at Holly Springs Elementary School for 5 years.

I taught Fourth Grade at Holly Springs for 4 years.  

This is my 14th year as a Media Specialist.  I am excited to be at Annette Winn Elementary School.
